This site offers you information and ways to learn the Alexander Technique, Pilates and Dance via classes and workshops taught by Juliet Shelley.

Juliet Shelley began dancing at the age of five and studied dance professionally at the Laban Centre, London and then the Centre for New Dance Development (SNDO) in Amsterdam. She was employed as a dancer, choreographer and teacher with Jointwork Dance Group in England and worked freelance until 1994 when she relocated to New Zealand.

She has taught classes and workshops in England, Italy, the Netherlands, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. She teaches weekly classes in Wellington at Toi Poneke Arts Centre.

Juliet was certified with the UK Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique in 1994 after studying under Dick and Elizabeth Walker in Oxford, England. She has been teaching the technique since 1994 in New Zealand at health centres, privately, in groups and for the Wellington Alexander Technique Training School.

Juliet  was certified as a Pilates mat instructor in 2003 with Pilates International and as a Pilates mat and studio teacher in 2012. She teaches weekly classes in Pilates mat and Pilates studio.
